I'm Yixin Ren, an Engineering I student at McMaster University. I'm into designing new products and innovating new solutions. In high school, I was into competitive robotics and was on frc teams: 7902 The Markham Firebirds & 7520 MineKee.
For fun I like to bike, bake new types of bread, and get to know more people!

Interactive musical instrument built with Raspberry Pi and Python. Uses color recognition to transform physical chips into musical notes while combining sensors, servo mechanisms, and a custom graphical interface.

Custom prop replica inspired by Miss Fortune’s Battle Bunny gun. Designed in Onshape with a functional Nerf-style interior mechanism, combining CAD modeling, mechanical systems, and iterative prototyping to create an animated engineering showcase piece.
